Lead-Based Paint Re-Certification Training

$250 for members/$350 for non-members
$25 discount for each additional employee from the same company

Beginning April 22, 2010, if your company engages in remodeling and repair/maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, or window replacement that disturbs 6 square feet or more of paint per room inside, or 20 square feet or more on the exterior of a home, child care facility or school built before 1978 then you must have at least one worker from your firm be a certified lead renovator.

Please Note: Students are required to bring a copy of their initial Lead Renovator certificate to the refresher class, so that there are no delays in issuing the new RRP certificate!
For individuals who have previously completed the Lead Renovator Initial Certification in compliance with the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule, this 4-hour Refresher Course is required to renew your individual certification. Our courses are delivered by experienced instructors, and will provide you with all the current information you need to successfully and safely perform RRP work in the field.

  • Review of Set-Up Practices
  • Review of Prohibited Practices, Personal Protective Equipment and Dust Control
  • Cleaning Activities and Checking Your Work
